Admin carry: Yes. The Helikon-Tex Competition Utility Pouch is well-suited for admin carry. The zippered main compartment fits common “range/admin” items (eye/ear pro, timer, small electronics, stationery), and the mounting options make it easy to place where you need it.

IFAK use: It can work, with caveats. The pouch has a single large zippered compartment rather than a dedicated quick-rip medical insert. If you plan to use it as an IFAK, consider organising contents with internal mini pouches or elastic organisers so items are easy to identify and access. For faster access under stress, a purpose-built IFAK pouch with tear-away panel is typically better.

Best approach: Use it as admin + small essentials, or as a secondary medical/support pouch for gloves, tape, wipes, and small items, while keeping a dedicated IFAK system for primary medical access.
Important note on logo update
Newer shipments of the Helikon-Tex Competition Utility Pouch may no longer include the Chameleon logo embroidered on the Velcro panel. Instead, it may feature a small grey logo printed above the Velcro panel.
