BOKER PLUS WARBIRD FLIPPER KNIFE 3.625" D2 STONEWASHED BLADE, BLACK G10 HANDLES (01BO754)

The slim Boker Plus Warbird by Boris Manasherov skillfully combines a full-size knife with a flat design and excellent grip. Although the flipper is flush with the sides in the open and closed blade position, it doesn't work like a front flipper. Instead, it can be engaged with the index finger, which makes the handling of this knife very intuitive. The large indentations on the sides of the G10 scales let the fingers easily slip into the correct positions.

The handle has a one-sided steel plate with liner lock and a self-supporting front scale with an integrated spacer. These design features also make the handle surprisingly lightweight and slim. With rugged D2 blade steel and pocket clip for easy carry.

About the Designer: Boris Manasherov
The designed by Boris Manasherov testify to its versatile background. He is not only an engineer and trained gunsmith, but also a martial arts specialist who has been working intensively with the Israeli Krav Maga since 1973. Since 1985 as an instructor for Israeli special units, his designs unite his experiences from all these areas. His designs are always highly practical and adapted to the requirements of modern knives.

D2 Tool Steel
With a chromium content of 12%, D2 - a tool steel - can certainly be classified as a stainless steel. Since its chromium content is right on the threshold, however, a little more care for the D2 wouldn't go amiss. As an upper-tier conventional steel, D2 offers great edge retention and stability, though sharpening it takes a little effort.
